هدف البحث إلى التعرف على مستوى التهكم التنظيمي والاستغراق الوظيفي للمعلمين العاملين في المدارس الحكومية في قضاء الزبير. ولتحقيق ذلك أجري البحث على عينة عشوائية قوامها(66) مفردة. وفي ضوء ذلك جرى جمع وتحليل البيانات واختبار الفرضيات باستخدام الحزمة الإحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية SPSS، وتم استخدام العديد من الأساليب الإحصائية لتحقيق أهداف البحث منها تحليل الانحدار البسيط والمتعدد. وأظهرت النتائج وجود اثر ذي دلالة إحصائية معنوية بين التهكم الوظيفي والاستغراق الوظيفي.
