تناول الجدل الفكري طبيعة العلاقة بين فجوة المعرفة وفجوة الأداء الإستراتيجي، وقد إنطلق الباحث من هذا الجدل الفكري ليسعى الى اختبار طبيعة العلاقة والأثر بينهما عبر عينة من (61) فرد من الأكاديميين في كليات الإدارة والإقتصاد في جامعات مدينة بغداد وذلك باعتبارهم الأكثر تخصصا" في المجالات المعرفية والأداء الإستراتيجي ، وقد توصل الباحث الى وجود ارتباط وتأثير عالي لفجوة المعرفة في فجوة الأداء الإستراتيجي . وقد تضمن البحث أربعة محاور إنصرف الأول لمنهجيته والثاني للتأطير النظري والثالث لعرض وتحليل النتائج وإختبار الفرضيات فيما خصص الرابع للإستنتاجات والتوصيات.
