تمثل المعرفة الحجر الأساس لعمل جميع المنظمات فهي العامل الذي يقود تفكير الأفراد وهي القدرة التي تقــود إلى السلوك القائم على العقلانية فهي العمل الذي يخلق قيمة للمنظمة وبالتالي الوصول إلى الأداء الظافر حيث إن المعرفة تشكل نوعا جديدا من رأس المال القائم على الفكر والخبرة وهو ما يدعى برأس المال الفكري الذي يتجدد ويتطور باستمرار .وقد سعت الدراسة إلى بيان دور الذروة المعرفية في تحقيق أعلى مستويات الأداء ألمنظمي ومن ثم الوصول إلى الأداء الظافر في المنظمات التعليمية عينة الدراسة وقد تبين إن هناك علاقة ارتباط بين الذروة المعرفية والأداء الظافر فالذروة المعرفية تؤثر معنويا على أبعاد الأداء الظافر.
