يستعرض البحث آلية تطبيق المواصفة الدولية ISO 21001:2018 في فرع الطاقة الخاص بقسم الهندسة الكهروميكانيكيـة–الجامعة التكنولوجيـة لتـحقيـق جودة الخدمـة التعليـمية لتهيئة الفرع للحصـول على شهـادة المطابـقة مع مـتطلبات المواصفـة الدوليـة ISO 21001:2018، وتم الاعتماد على قوائم الفحص (CHEKLIST) للمواصفة الدولية ( ISO 21001:2018 )، ومن خلال المعايـشة الميدانـية واجراء المقابلات و الاطلاع على السجلات والوثائق الخاصة بالقسم تم جمع البيانات اللازمة، وتوصل البحث الى عدد من النتـائج ابرزهـا: تبني القيادات العليا لممارسة الجودة واستعدادها لتطبيق متطلبات المواصفة ، وامتلاك الجامعة بنية اساسية تؤهلها لتطبيق المواصفة الدولية ، فضلاً عن وجود تداخل في عملية التخطيط لنظام ادارة الجودة.
